Mosta is a town in the Northern Region of Malta. In 2014, it had an estimated population of 20,241. The most famous building in Mosta is the Rotunda, a large church with the third largest unsupported dome in the world with an internal diameter of 37.2 metres and walls nearly 9.1 metres (30 ft.) thick.
This Maltese village celebrates the feast of the Assumption every 15 August, popular among both the locals and the foreigners.
